In recent years, Longyu Company has been actively promoting the annual processing of 200,000 tons of ethylene tar project, producing intermediate carbon microsphere lithium battery negative electrode new materials and 250,000 tons of high-quality marine fuel oil. The intermediate carbon microspheres, due to their high strength, ultra-high specific surface area, and excellent conductivity, are widely used in the mechanical industry, new energy vehicles, and environmental protection fields, and have become the main negative electrode material for power lithium-ion batteries.
Project Challenge: High Temperature Efficiency and Environmental Requirements
In this project, the performance of the heat transfer fluid is crucial. The production process requires a temperature as high as 330℃, while the Northeast and Northwest regions experience cold winters. The production equipment needs to start at extremely low temperatures, and traditional heat transfer fluids have shortcomings in terms of high-temperature stability and low-temperature flowability. Additionally, with the increasingly strict environmental policies, there is a growing demand in the industry for environmentally friendly high-temperature heat transfer fluids.
Solution: Chemie Heat Transfer Fluid Technology’s excellent products
During the project construction, Longyu Company learned about the German original imported high-temperature synthetic heat transfer fluid represented by Chemie Heat Transfer Fluid Technology. This heat transfer fluid has an optimal operating temperature range of -55°C to 330°C, with extremely low pour point and kinematic viscosity, as well as excellent high-temperature stability. In the certification by the China Special Inspection Institute, the measured deterioration rate of this product is much lower than that of most similar products, making it highly suitable for low-temperature startup and shutdown, as well as long-term safe operation of heating systems and production facilities in cold regions.
Based on multiple data comparisons and in-depth technical discussions, Longyu Company has finally decided to order 100 tons of high-temperature synthetic heat transfer fluid, which will be delivered and used in March 2022. This move significantly improves production efficiency and environmental safety, fully demonstrating the excellent quality of Chemie’s products in the field of high-temperature synthetic heat transfer fluids.
